Being a small business owner means wearing countless hats, juggling endless responsibilities, and facing challenges head on.  Some days, it feels like everything falls into place.  Other days, you’re figuring it out as you go.

In the world of business, change isn’t just inevitable—it’s essential. There are moments when the plan doesn’t work, and you have to pivot:

➡️ A different approach
➡️ A fresh perspective
➡️ Or create or follow a new path

I tried all of these and finally landed at…follow a new path. Desk Maven has allowed me the flexibility to explore the world and the freedom to immerse myself in other cultures, food and lands. There are significant times in your life, that offer hints and clues to travel the road less traveled. We ignore them or oftentimes are oblivious to them. But at some point, a desire burns within you that you can no longer deny.

It’s not what you set out to do, it’s not a part of the plan. But that’s just it, life isn’t about plans, it’s about risks, curiosity and LIVING.

Do the thing, declare your love, ask for help, be alone for a bit, set the boundary, define your own definition of success, BE YOU!
